Your 12 Week Link Liberation Training Outline:

  • Week 1 - How Search Engines See Links (June 18)
How search engines look at links, link building concepts and definitions, link building strategies to avoid, how spam detection algorithms work, PageRank and other authority measurements, key mindsets & concepts for this class. Lays the foundation for everything else we do. (If you are watching this one and haven't signed up, you can sign up first and watch it later, to make sure that you get a seat).

  • Week 2 - Market & Competitive Research
Introduces the planning & execution cycle and process maps, first task for students is mapping out their marketplace for opportunities and competitive threats. Start to answer "what is it going to take to rank?" and set up your first Link Collectors.

  • Week 3 - Profitable Promotions & "Self Liquidating Links"
This might be the single most important concept that you need to "get" if you ever want to be liberated from "link building hell." Everyone seems to think that link building has to cost money - I saw a blog comment this week, that organic link building is only for those with "million-dollar budgets." Wrong, wrong, wrong. There are tons of great ways to build traffic, make money, and get links at the same time. Learn how to get "self liquidating links" that pay for themselves, leaving you laughing all the way to the bank.

  • Week 4 - Content Distribution & Content Pumps
Some of the simplest, strongest, and most "no brainer you got to do this" link building techniques involve creating and distributing content across the web - with your links in it, of course. How to do this the right way - and not be "that guy" by just doing what everyone else is doing. Plus - let your competitors and partners do half the work, for free!

  • Week 5 - Relationship Linking
I got 15,000 links to my site without really trying - here's how you can do the same. Finding the "low hanging fruit" - establishing win-win relationships. Leveraging your skills, tools, and other assets to get other people to make giving you links a high priority. Creating a "relationship marketing" strategy & managing multiple "levels of intimacy."

  • Week 6 - Using Market Multipliers
Your Market, Your Industry, Your Customers, Your Prospects, and Their Communities all have different reasons to link to you - an one size does not fit all. Harnessing the power of the marketplace and communities to attract links, and create buzz. Plus, the Market Multiplier Leverage Engine - how to evaluate the opportunity and costs, and plan for success.

  • Week 7 - Getting Tactical
Nothing but more ways to get links - pure tactics, plug and play. Everything from directories, to social media strategies, to... the kitchen sink. (I honestly haven't figured out how to make your kitchen sink get links yet, but I promise that I will before this class!)

  • Week 8 - Getting Technical
One of the most famous modules in my original link building course gets a COMPLETE update - how to use technology to recover links, convert bad links into good links, and make "link driving machines" that people deploy on their sites gladly, giving you total control of your link building scene

  • Week 9 - Link Targets & Managing Inbound Links
Where to link, how to restructure your site to get the most benefit, how to target specific keywords and pages for ranking, and managing multiple "campaigns" at once. (Regular class plus bonus training w/ Guest Speaker - how to make linking to your site "sexy" - seriously!)

  • Week 10 - Public Relations & Event Marketing
Public relations is massively overrated, and massively ineffective, if you don't do it right. It's not enough to just push out a press release - the strategy behind it, the way you use social media, makes a world of difference. (Regular class plus extra training w/ Guest Speaker)

  • Week 11 - Creating & Deploying Index Drivers
You saw the video - now see the strategy behind "Leverage Engine #4" as we build and deploy your first Index Driver into the marketplace.

  • Week 12 - Planning & Execution
Doing homework assignments is easy - this session is all about mapping out your strategy, then putting processes and people into place so that your link building is always going according to plan. Winners are rarely perfect at everything they do - but they do it anyway.
